Staff's Favorite Restaurants

There are so many great places to eat in this town we decided to start of with our top 10. Check back soon and we will have a top 10 for each category.

1. Nino's - $6-$12

Not Fancy. Almost a fast food joint with awesome Italian. The cheese steak is legendary.

2. Pascal's Manele - $40+

An old school famous establishment with great sea food located in the Garden District.

3. Deanies - $15-$25

If you looking for big portions of fried sea food this is your place. Two locations: The French Quarter and Metairie.

4. Semollina - $15-$25

Local pasta place with a Cajun flair. While slacks and a polo are not required this writer highly recommends them.

5. Jacques-Imo - $20-$40

The seafood might be best in the Big Easy, but its small and the wait can be an hour or more. If it wasn't for that they might be one. 

6. The Ninja $20-$40

The Crescent City's best sushi house. The squid salad in super. 

7. Bud's Broiler - $4-$10

This is the local burger shack everyone raves about. Yea it's pretty good and they get a lot of my money; but from someone that has lived in Dallas the greasy spoon burger stands are not the NOLA's strong point. My favorite burger in town is the Cajun Burger at Buddha Belly, but the Buddha is a bar, so they don't make this list.

8. Voodo BBQ - $8-$20

Same as the burgers the BBQ ain't like it is in Texas, Oklahoma, and KC, but this place is pretty good.  

9. Mystic Pizza $10-$20

Good pizza in a nice upscale pizzeria.

 

10. Dicky Brenons $40+

Fancy Restaurant in the Quarter. The Filet is first class and so is the establishment. Valet available, reservation usually not required.
